I WANT TO LEAVE HOME

      From my inbox.

A young lady sent this to my inbox just this evening saying she is thinking of leaving home. I was also thinking of leaving the net to get some sleep but she sounded desperate so I have to get to her this night.
Well, my contacts know I have to get this message here so we could all send in our suggestions to help, not criticize please.
Now,why does she want to leave? She says her parents do not understand her (she is 19), her siblings are not close to her and she feels terrible about herself.
In my signature style am going to be straight: if you have a family friend..say the family of a childhood friend....you could pack your bags and take a short break there okay?
If you also have an Aunt you could visit please go...leave home.
Yes that is Estherzion! Am not going to be the contemporary religious coach who first of all gives you a complete scolding before telling you to return to your room and find something worth doing that will take your mind off leaving home.
When you leave home do not come back the same...while you are holidaying at your Aunt's place...prepare your mind to go back and flow along with your family, you have to know that you are a part of that family and they all need you. They may not all practically show it,so instead of expecting your parents to understand you, you understand them okay? Instead of waiting for your siblings to be all around you going in through your ear and comming out through your fingers let them be and love them all the same.some siblings do not get along with each other but it doesn't mean you are at liberty to term it 'hate' once you do that It practically becomes that, so term it 'her/his way of love' and it becomes that.
When you are back with this mentality, you tell yourself you are the best part of your family...feel good about it and let things straighten out.
