Funke Akindele Arrested over COVID 19 Funke Akindele has been arrested over a trending birthday party video. It'll be recalled that she is an ambassador of The NCDC and churns out advice on the way forward towards containing the Covid 19 pandemic and so Nigerians were shocked to see her house filled with people dancing and making merry when they all ought to be practicing social distancing. Nigerians took to Twitter to bash her while others gave excuses for her amidst an apology video she made. The birthday was actually her husband's birthday and she claims the party makers where all sure of their status and have been together in The Amen estate since the lockdown. However she has been arrested and all others who were in attendance have been asked to turn in themselves or risk being declared wanted.
